The Atlanta Opera’s film presentation of Richard Wagner’s "Siegfried" captures the thrilling third chapter of "Der Ring des Nibelungen," based on the company’s spectacular production from its run through April 26–May 4, 2025, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. "Siegfried" follows the fearless young hero as he forges his own destiny—repairing the legendary sword, confronting the dragon Fafner, and ultimately awakening Brünnhilde in a dramatic finale that heralds love, courage, and the promise of a new era.

Led by tenor Stefan Vinke in the title role, with Lise Lindstrom as Brünnhilde and Greer Grimsley as the Wanderer, the performance is conducted by Roberto Kalb and directed by Tomer Zvulun, showcasing Wagner’s immense score with passion and precision.

The nearly four-hour film brings this monumental work into homes, inviting audiences to experience the mythic drama and transcendent music of Wagner’s epic.
