In fall of 2020, a brave band of artists, crew and company safely created and performed new productions of Pagliacci and The Kaiser of Atlantis in a circus tent on a baseball field. Superstars from the opera world joined The Atlanta Opera Company Players for 20 performances over three weeks. In the spring, the company rebuilt the Big Tent for new productions of Carmen and The Threepenny Opera. These filmed performances put the home audience on stage with the performers for a new kind of opera experience.
